Overall, Garrison is the perfect example of DC Comics penchant for cutting edge, offbeat, and interestingly literary comics. We usually see this type of offering from DC Comics Vertigo line, but books like Garrison and the recently collected Winter Men, are definitely turning heads towards and building upon DC Comics Wildstorm imprints reputation for high quality and engaging work. Francesco Francavillas art is good. He obviously knows how to structure a story with his panels and they flow like scenes from a movie. Overall, its a decent issue. Im intrigued, but Im not hooked yet. Read Full Review

This issue didn't hook me and I'm not really curious to see what happens next. I'm sure there's going to be some twist to Garrison's murders - - either he's been set up or he's actually killing serial killers - - but this didn't grab my interest enough to see how it spins out. This really came off like the first 10 minutes of a generic TV show and I want to change channels. Read Full Review
