At first, there was only Winter. But this lonely existence was too much for them to bear, so Winter split off part of themself to bring forth spring. But the earth wished for Summer and Autumn as well, and with their creation marked the birth of the four seasons. The changing of seasons became the duty that fell upon humanity, and those tasked with the transition are known as "agents of the four seasons." This is the bittersweet story of Hinagiku and Sakura- agent of spring, and her devoted bodyguard who set out on a journey to usher in Edo's first spring in ten long years.
Overall, Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring is a good accompaniment to the original light novels but not at all a good introduction to the series. Theres just too much missing compared to the original and that leaves the cast and story lacking that all-important depth which makes Agents of the Four Seasons so special. Read Full Review
