Tomoki has long been passionate about the blink-of-an-eye performances that take place on the platform of the 10m dive. But as a member of the Mizuki Diving Club, he'll need more than passion when his team's lackluster record leaves them on the outs with their sponsors! Given an ultimatum to qualify for the Olympics in one short year and a new coach to train under, Tomoki and his teammates compete for glory with the fate of their diving club riding on their shoulders!
Overall, Dive!!'s first volume proves to be an enjoyable read. It's somewhat difficult to recommend to fans of the sports genre with its reluctance to talk about diving in any detail, but those of you looking for a slice of life about diving will fare better. At the very least this works as a good alternative to the Dive!! anime if you previously had interest in it. Read Full Review
