    Gretel constantly compounds the underlying theme of vengeance and justice with each issue and this book is no exception as it magnificently stirs the pot with a bitter taste from the past. To think that nauseating atrocities from history could so brilliantly combine to give the reader a glimpse into Gretel defining core and yet it seemlessly relates back to a time which we wish to forget if not for the sacrifices of the innocent. With captivating artwork and colors which illuminate complex emotions so elegantly we cannot but be stunned into disbelief by each issue, making us hate to wait for next month to come all while tantalizing our vision of what may be possible.     An exciting issue as Gretel encounters witches in the past and present. Fun story as the search for Tituba continues. The visuals are the best yet in this series. I need more Gretel in my life! Read Full Review

    Gretel is very far from her days as a young girl in the Grimm Fairy-tale story of the 1800s when she pushed a witch into an oven, but this twist on a 200-year-old character is fascinating and page-turning, and a feast for the eyes. Much better eating than children. Read Full Review
