While we may have been waiting for the conclusion of this epic story arc over the past year, the hurried expectations of what results before excited readers are mildly disappointing, with supposedly indomitable foes swiftly defeated in unforeseen ways, yet as we push forward toward the inevitable confrontation between equally determined rivals, both forces desiring opposing goals from the same means, it is a surprising conclusion which wildly unfolds which produces what we never wanted nor expected, all while bidding farewell to a cherished friend even if the darkness is held back for another day. GRIMM FAIRY TALES (VOL. 2) #75 brings the Year of Lovecraft to a close with a massive battle at the Mountains of Madness to stop Dagon from freeing Cthulhu. The action is energetic, and the pacing is high, but the battle is generic, and the art is inconsistent. Read Full Review
