The gypsy witch, Nataliya is brought before the Emperors' court to answer for her crimes against the Order of Tarot. Meanwhile, Talisman finds himself on the run in New York City with the evil forces of Tarot hunting him down.
A bit difficult to know who's who, but an enjoyable read with beautiful art. There's a lot going on and I'm looking forward to seeing where this is going, as every character has their own twisted agenda. With even more confusion added to an already complex storyline established from previous books, Grimm Fairy Tales: Tarot seems to be developing into an intriguing tale of deception and contradictions. While we are still in the dark about details from the Council's true motives and members, there appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel with the introduction of Shimmer and the Order of Light. However, even with these new clues to spice up the tale, will this prove to be the right choice or will it in the end, make this story all more convoluted to all but the most dedicated fans.
