This story is a cunning illustration that we never know what is concealed within plain sight, or that we can't understand what we are capable of unless we are confronted by our worst fears. While most of us may never recognize these circumstances, we can all understand the motives and their illogical conclusions, even if they are for the best intentions. I will always have a bit of a soft spot for Tales of Terror, as they remind me of the EC comics horror books of the past, which was for me in the 70's, the only real diversion from Big Two books. Back then, the stories would give me a shiver. Nowadays, I have a wistful smile, as familiar tropes deliver familiar results. Read Full Review
