Comic Bastards - Dustin Cabeal Nov 10, 2012

Honestly I’m no longer surprised by the quality of this series as it’s become one that I look forward to each month. With only three issues left I’m just hoping that there is enough to completely tell the story. If this series is the new direction for Zenescope then I welcome it with open arms because these are the types of stories that I want to read. Read Full Review

Robyn Hood is playing out a bit rushed, but also slow in a few ways. In two issues we have only seen her get beat up and come to Myst. Let's hope they can shape it up to fit it all in three more issues and making the story fulfilling. I would read this Robyn Hood for far more than five issues, and I hope they give it a longer run in the future. This comic was a good follow-up that tied up a lot of loose ends, and from the teaser for issue #3 it looks like we'll finally get to see Robyn in her cover outfit and fully immersed in the Robin Hood persona. I can say I am satisfied with this comic, and I would suggest it to anyone looking for a good fantasy story. Read Full Review

So, in closing, if you're already familiar with Zenescope and the books they produce then I need tell you nothing more, you already know. If you don't read Zenescope books and you have an interest in shows like Once Upon A Time and Grimm, or perhaps you read Vertigo's Fables and Fairest, then this is for you. If you're looking for another take on these classic stories then do yourself a favor, check out Robyn Hood or any other Zenescope book. Robyn Hood is currently available at finer comic shops everywhere. Read Full Review

Unleash The Fanboy - Daniel Alvarez Nov 5, 2012

Overall, Robyn Hood is a mini-series you should be reading. It's connected to the Grimm Fairy Tales universe, but you don't have know anything beforehand, you can read it on its own. A fun story background, funny dialogue thanks to good writing, and a fantastic main character. The second issue establishes Robyn in what looks to be her permanent setting for this series. The next issue takes places a year later, so these past two issues were mainly setup. I'll be looking forward to #3. Read Full Review
