Bucky feels like a real threat here and the ending is devastating for him.

The story beats are kept consistent in this second volume of the classic Winter Soldier series where Cap's dilemma is answered but at what cost. A solid characterisation for Cap and the charcters involved as we come to know about the tragic circumstances of Bucky. Stakes feel high yet so contained and the emotions involved are strong. Satisfying yet so brutal and poignant.

I'm not a fan of Cap, but it was a good and kinda iconic comic. I think, you really must read it, if you watched MCU adaptation of this.
