It had potential to be a really solid Howard the Duck story, but it was too chaotic, jumped from an idea to idea without even giving a chance to explore any of them a bit more. R-rated content was either fine or was here just for the sake of being here. When Steve tried to be edgy enough to justify the comic getting the Max logo, everything was instantly becoming boring and nonsensical. Yeah, yeah, there's a lot of politically incorrect and "clever" jokes, especially actual in 2024 (who would have known), but it just wasn't interesting to read. Some characters disappeared from the story even though it didn't feel like it was already their time to quit it. I really liked only 2 of 6 issues, which is a bad result.
