If there is one thing that is evident in recent years, it is just the dark, violent and unpleasant nature of dc comics primarily pre- Rebirth era. However with a sudden revalation that perhaps readers would enjoy just good old fashioned superhero fun, Dc decided to answer the fans and bring us Super sons. This series is fantastic, fallowing the adventures of Jon S. Kent aka Superboy aka Superman’s son, and Damian Wayne aka Robin aka Batman’s son as they fight crime together and bicker and complain and mock one another. Peter J. Tomasi really does do a terrific job at writing humorous childish but adolescent humor. The art work by Jorge Jimenez is great, he gives each of the boys a really great facial expressions, along with awkward but seriously poses. I really love this series, Never once disliking any of it or getting agrivated. It’s fun, it’s New reader friendly and very engaging to read. highly recommend.
