Love what Aaron has been doing so far on this title. This first volume was over the top, action-packed and really fun. I liked the conversation between Tony, Steve, and Thor in the first issue in which the characters juggled notions of their relevance, vulnerabilities, and ambiguity of the Avengers as a team in recent years. Also, I loved the way that Aaron brought up the tension between Tony and Carol in a really fun way, kind of how a brother and sister would quarrel.
I dig the line-up, and I feel that Aaron is bringing the best out of every character, especially Tony, who was hilarious. She-hulk is a blast, especially when paired with Thor. Doctor Strange is so great, so witty. I even really warmed up to Robbie Reyes by volumes end.
Really enjoyable read with phenomenal art. Cannot wait until Vol. 2 comes out.
I really like what Aaron and McGuiness are doing on this book, Ghost Rider is the stand out character for sure, but everyone else is written well. I thought Loki's threat was a good reason to bring back the avengers. The actions scenes were cool and interesting. This is just overall a really good book that is worth picking up.
A bit weird, but still a promising start.
