For countless millennia the world has been subjected to an all-encompassing apocalyptic conspiracy. Through clandestine movements, a sinister secret organization has been creating a hypnotic state of conformity and control through their manipulation of the government, business, and entertainment industry. Now with the fate of all mankind hanging in the balance, the secret freedom fighting cult make their final rebellious stand in the war of control versus chaos. Collects is more

“We’re not at war. This is a rescue mission.”

Grant Morrison’s The Invisibles is a very different type of story from most other comic books. It’s not only told in very nonlinear form but also told in an esoteric manner. Meaning that you have to reread it at least twice through to understand certain aspects.
