I'm soo happy I gave 1 a chance and this issue didn't disappoint. Loved the action and the guest stars. I'm really interested in getting to know more back story but I just can't complain because of the heartwarming connections to his past. I like how the character really gets the Spider-Man ideology of heroic sacrifice. This was great but DANG an we get a FULL length story!: I don't want a back up more

I enjoyed this issue. I have no idea what happened before #301 so I'm still waiting for the story to pick up, but definitely appreciate the set up and patiently waiting to get better acquainted with the heroes and villains. The BEST part though is the FREAKING AMAZING ART! WOW! I just flipped through the ish before I even read it. LOVE how this art style and colors is perfect for this book.

I really enjoyed the two protagonist characters and that they represent magic and science but I'm afraid the rest just isn't for me. Awesome art. Great writing (when it didn't fly over my head) I'm just getting back into reading current modern comics and I'm going to pass on the series for now. Probably check it out later when it hits Marvel Unlimited if I read that the story did some cool stuff.
