Iceman has been one of my favorite superheros and x men since I was a kid. I wasn't a fan of his previous solo run, I felt like it wasn't well paced and the story's priorities felt a little all over the place. This time around, however, I find myself enjoying the story much more. I appreciate getting to see bits of Bobby's personal life, while not having it destract as much from his superhero responsibilities. While the passing still feels a little fast pace, it is much better than in his previous run. I feel like there are more steaks now and I'm genuinely excited to find out how things will play out from chapter to chapter. I think having one chapter be slower chapter that focuses on Bobby's personal life and training to be able to reconstruct himself on his own, would be a good way to make the pacing feel just a bit more natural as right now it feels like it's go go go all the time but overall, I enjoyed this read very much and can't wait to see what's next for iceman! more
