The problem with this comic is that the short stories are better than the main event. After the Deadpool/Batman story, you've got multiple short stories featuring team-ups between various Marvel and DC characters that would've made for way better comics than the one that we actually got! The Captain America & Wonder Woman short story was really interesting, and the team-up between Daredevil and Gr
een Arrow was awesome! The Frank Miller one was really bad, though
The story we actually got with Deadpool and Batman was a huge disappointment. The contrast between the two characters was great, with Wade being a loud-mouth that keeps cracking jokes and Bruce being as blunt as ever, and the art was great (especially for Batman and Gordon), but nothing else really stood-out. I also felt as though Wade felt quite out-of-character, feeling more like just a boring mercenary than the anti-hero he's generally depicted as. The writing and story felt very lazy, and I expected Wade to be far more self-aware (in the classic meta fashion that DP usually has)
This comic is completely carried by the short stories!
