In terms of narrative this was where the series lost me. Rodriguez art continues to be beautiful but I do not feel Tamaki has a grasp on the either Zatanna, Constantine or Zatara at all. The dynamic of the johnzee relationship feels bland and that is not a word to usually describe there dynamic, his existence in this else world as well makes little to no sense with this different origin of Zatara more
