Cool start to Nightwing's reintroduction into Bludhaven, with the addition of former villains creating a great starting point of the story. The colors within the comic are vivid, with the blues popping whenever they are presented.

Through and through, this series is already turning out to be the greatest amalgam of Lovecraftian material and modern prose ever made. Jacen Burrows has done such an amazing job with the details showcased throughout every panel, as his work suits Moore's cinematic scope. The coloring is very subtle, but it really tunes into the involuntary attention of the reader when it has to. Overall, this sec more

The attention to detail that Alan Moore and Jacen Burrows have dedicated to this piece is quite impressive, as it makes for a fascinating introduction to, what is sure to be, a superb take on the Chambers/Lovecraft mythos. The triple plot lines - one via flashback, one in the present, and one silent - made for a compelling read.

The identity/ gender of the lover forced me to go back and pay closer attention to the panels.

The prose at the back helped add to the comic story itself.

The map of the inside covers added solid real-world grounding to the fiction.
