Good artwork and some story progression, although a lot more probably could have happened.
WHO IS THE PHOENIX CORPORATION?
• The question of the year continues -- with another one: what do they want with Quentin Quire?
• Latour and Asrar bring you a breaking point in the lives of Logan and Ororo Munro!
Excellent! Story line progresses, good dialogue and artwork is right on.
• Cyclops and his revolutionary X-Men take on SHIELD!
• They get closer to finding those at SHIELD responsible for the Sentinels that nearly killed them, but find themselves in even greater danger!
Not a bad issue. It is a 1 of 6, so there is some build up happening here. Some good drawings of the X-Ladies, I'm so glad there is an all female X squad! Overall, it is what I'd expect from a good first issue, and I'm anticipating part 2. Only drawback of this issue was the lack of any real action shots.
BLOODLINE PART 1
• Jubilee is haunted by Shogo's past... or is it his future?!
This issue was insanely boring and Marrow's dialogue was so annoying it gave me a headache. The artwork would have been ok if anything actually happened. There should have been a huge fight scene with all the escaped mutants, but Psylocke knocks them all out. The members of X-Force awaken to a lecture from Betsy... and this, my friends, is why I loathe psychics in comic books. There is no prevmore
• X-Force races their foe, ruthless arms-dealer Volga, through the jungles of Brazil to locate a mutant who might be the key to his undoing.
• But can Psylocke curb her bloodlust long enough to complete the mission?
• And a new member is introduced to the team!
