Joker: Killer Smile

Everyone knows The Joker doesn't have the most promising history with psychotherapists. In fact, no one's even been able to diagnose him. There's no way The Joker could ever get through the therapeutic walls Ben has buil...

Solid, interesting, pretty. Not as gripping as it could've been until the very end. But it's going to be four issues, each the length of this one (which was 45 pages of actual comic book, x4 for a total of a ~180-page story in the end) and the final page definitely got me primed for what's next.

I've never really been interested in Suicide Squad before, but the description of this run intrigued me, and I'm glad I picked it up. The creators managed to make me care about characters I'd seen in approximately three panels so that I would be sad when they died. Well done, jerks.

8.5/10, eagerly awaiting more suffering.

Hellblazer is back! Si Spurrier feels like he could've fit right in among the better writers of the original comic, and despite the slightly wordier name, if you pick this up you'll essentially be reading "Hellblazer volume 2." Which is exactly what I was hoping for.
