The premise, as given with the blurb and with the cover art, is entirely misleading. Nowhere in the entire book does a robot make an appearance, as a cop or anything else. It sounds like someone got a wonderful idea over pizza, then proceeded to make a mashup of it by enlisting an artist whose work resembles a cross between Mike Allred and Mike Mignola, without the charm. The writer may have acquired kudos for his work elsewhere, but he won't get them from me. Not on this rambling, random study in narcisissm. The story has one premise, and not only fails to deliver on it, but makes reference to it so many times you finally realize they're trying to tell a funny story. Only, the joke is on the reader, who presumably spent four bucks on this trash. I have purchased and read underground comix with more redeeming value than this. Needless to say, I don't think anyone should waste their time on it. There are better examples of the writer and the artist's work to be found elsewhere.
