The writing felt overly simplistic and strangely outdated—not in a nostalgic or intentional way, but more like something pulled straight from a half-hearted script from the 1950s, without any of the charm. The character responses to major situations lacked any real depth or originality, and the dialogue came off as forced and uninspired. For a first issue meant to launch a new chapter, this felt more like a misfire than a setup. It’s hard to shake the feeling that the creative team isn’t fully invested in making this book succeed
