If you're a fan of Black Panther in the MCU, you will enjoy Hudlin’s "Who Is The Black Panther?" run ( Vol 1. Issues 1-6). It provides a much deeper look into the culture of Wakanda and the relationship between T'Challa and Ulysses Klaue. Hudlin's boldest move was introducing an original character, Shuri, as T'Challa's sister, a canon changing choice that was a huge deal for the comics and ended up inspiring her character on the big screen only 13 years later. While the main plot seems simple, the real genius is in the political subtext. The exploration of a never before colonized technologically advanced African country and the relationship it has with the international community, more specifically the United States, is worth the read by itself. But, if you're here simply for the action, artwork, and cameos you will not be disappointed either.
