An absurdly well done Mr. Freeze story with great moments for Batman as well. Books like this are why I still read comics at my (relatively) old age.

This issue continues a strong series with a fast-paced plot, great art that emphasizes and elevates the venue of an underwater train plus a home run splash page, and the best dynamic of its superhero trio so far.

I wanted to be able to say that I enjoyed 7/7 of the stories here but the Hats of London didn't do it for me except for the diversity it brought to the issue. Otherwise a phenomenal line up of great stories, with Winter's Apprentice and Murder Society topping off the most interesting issue of this book for me to date (I jumped on this at issue 25).

A strong end to the train-arc but not quite as strong as the great last issue.

Enjoyed 4/6 of the stories here with an emphasis on the new addition Murder Society being a downright creepy yet delightful world I'm excited for more of.

A pretty great jumping on point for me with Black Sinister and Rubber Guns both being stories that I'd check for in their own books, Black Sinister standing above based on its fantastic art.

This book has been really strong so far, especially when it takes the time to dig in to the character's humanity and what it means to be human, but this issue's art took a nose dive. The story is still strong and interesting.

I decided to jump into this book because I generally appreciate anthologies. The stand outs were Brooklyn Blood and The Once and Future Mr. Monster with Hate Crime being an interesting, barely a comic style story tacked on at the end. This issue isn't a great place to start if you are interested in hoping in for a mix of short stories.

Tried this out on a whim but it didn't really do it for me. Nothing particularly wrong with the writing or the art but it didn't stand out from within the well worn themes it explored.
