Writer Ryan Parrott continues to build on the intriguing Eltar subplot, which could end up being the biggest game-changer of the series, but the more drastic change is Zordon and the Ranger’s changing stance on the Omega Rangers. This draws a line in the sand between the two teams and opens the door on even more interesting character developments for half the team, including Billy, Tommy, and Aisha. It’s also nice to see the villains actually conveyed as a formidable threat, and credit for that should also go to artist Marco Renna and colorists Walter Baiamonte and Katia Ranalli, who bring that epic fight to life with a burst of style and color, feeling like it jumped right out of the show.
