Having read the complete series #4 has been the one to exceed my expectations. The sense of the comic was such a departure from the Parker will all know that my sensibilities wanted to reject the book outright. This is exactly what I loved about the book. Chapman's conduct disorder evolving to an anti-social Patton is written perfectly. He accomplishes a terrific and complete story that will leave you feeling eerie, wrong, and shocked. Garry Brown does an amazing with the cover and I hope we get to see more from him. Elia's work is a departure from the cover but is beautiful executed and belays the tone of the book fully. My advice is to not read this once but twice to rally let these characters sink in. Best

History, adventure, and monsters! What more could you want? Great Art? Got it! Compelling story? You betcha!

The Valiant book I always wanted. As a kid the art of the valiant series were always mesmerizing. They looked like nothing else on the shelf. The stories were absolutely atrocious. When they brought back Valiant characters I was hopeful that they would have the magic of the old series art and the hindsight to give these great characters the stories they deserve. I can say with this story arc they have finally succeeded. Thank you!
