    Comic Crusaders - M.R. Jafri Aug 20, 2020

The story by Benjamin Percy is perfect for Wolverine, it also uses the text pages to build up the story itself rather than just give background information. The humans in the bar are each varied and interesting characters. Even though this is a simple tale, it builds nicely and comes to a crashing end with the arrival of Omega Red and the vampire army. Wolverine has his work cut out for him in issues to come. Readers are clearly in for a treat with this high quality of storytelling. This is the best Wolverine comic we have had in decades. You Don't Read Comics - David Harth Aug 19, 2020

Wolverine #4 is another excellent Wolverine story from Percy and company. Wolverine has been ambushed before but never like this. It's an exciting way of doing an old type of story, and it plays into the way the Internet would be used against mutants, much like is being done in New Mutants. It will be interesting to see how the whole Dracula and Omega Red thing plays out as well. Bogdanovic had a tough act to follow, but he pulls it off well. Wolverine #4 keeps up the quality that this book is coming to be known for. Read Full Review

Weird Science Marvel Comics - Dispatchdcu Aug 19, 2020

Readers will certainly be entertained by this issue. However, the true excitement doesnt pick up until the last couple of pages with the introduction to Omega Red and his would-be master. Readers merely get to the fireworks factory a bit later as the issue concludes, which is the biggest downfall of the comic this week. Nonetheless, the story isnt hard to follow while piling on the ugly that Wolverine simply cant avoid. Moreover, Percy takes the time for a bit longer setup this issue but honestly, the payoff is certainly worth it. Plus, readers clearly see Logan as an addict of sorts. Somehow, regardless of peace, hes always drawn into a bloodbath. He just cant shake the carnage. Overall, its a solid issue that's just not as exciting as they have been. However, the next issue of WOLVERINE will certainly start with a bang and this fan can't wait. Pick this up and let me know what you think. Read Full Review

    AIPT - Ryan Pagella Aug 19, 2020

Benjamin Percy writes a good Wolverine. He is so close to actually evolving Logan as a character. While Omega Red fighting Wolverine is overdone, this issue (and series) is diving a little further into Logan's psyche. He keeps doing the same things, making the mistakes, and giving into the same toxic habits over and over instead of healing -- and this series is addressing that. Read Full Review

Comic Watch - Ross Hutchinson Aug 19, 2020

Wolverine #4 is a grim and dark tale that serves as a bridging story between the first arc and the new one that explores several tropes we have seen before in Wolverine comics this issue does not offer anything revelatory in nature but is strong enough in its the overall execution to still be a solid read. Comic Book Revolution - Kevin Lainez Aug 23, 2020

Wolverine #4 does a good job kicking off a new storyline for the series. The dynamic between Wolverine and the Quiet Council stood out well to set-up the current standing of the former under Krakoa's current structure. Where Benjamin Percy intends to go with this set-up will be interesting to find out. Read Full Review
