Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze Sep 7, 2016

Ninjak #19 cranked the dial and if you weren't invested in The Fist & The Steel after the first issue? Surely this creative team has your full attention now with where they are taking NInjak and Gilad. Who knows specifically where this is going, but things can only get crazier from here. Heroes Direct - Adam Fitch Sep 9, 2016

They find Fakir in the depths of the Nevada desert, and from there on it's plot-twist-galore just as they seem to get the upper hand. Cleverly, the future and present are tied together and it works perfectly. The series is heading to a great place and we're hugely engrossed in both timelines, so it's a good time to be a Ninjak fan. GAMbIT Magazine - Alan D.D. Sep 6, 2016

So, to summarize: Ninjak #19 has one of the best scripts of the series, even if light on action, aswell as a couple of great illustrations throughout. It's not perfect, but it does enough right that fans of the series are going to love it! Read Full Review

The Broken Infinite - Frank Rodriguez Sep 7, 2016

Ninjak #19 gave us some superb storytelling in a way that is both interesting without hitting you over the head with things. Kindt crafts two very distinct stories that compliment each other completely. Meanwhile, Evans, Arreola, Guinaldo and Sotomayor give their own distinct artist prints on their respective stories, allowing their unique styles and colors blending in a spectacular union of sequential art. The revelation of Colin's illness was stunning and a bit horrific while Dr. Silk's return was an uncomfortable, but welcomed reunion by the devious bastard. A really stellar issue besides the minor art hiccups. Read Full Review

Ninjak #19 is an entertaining read. More than just a spy thriller, this book offers adventure, witty humor, science, and magic. This arc promises to be a significant chapter in the Ninjak saga. Pick this one up. You wont be disappointed. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Jim Werner Sep 4, 2016

I love me some Ninjak and issue nineteen is no exception to this rule. Despite my initial shock of reading about Grandpa Ninjak, the catch up page and some good writing helped bridge the gap for what I missed and I was off and running in no time.  We also get a backup story, as usual, which ties the future into the present in a very clever way. It's an excellent touch the team uses to keep all moving parts knit together well.  I continue to like where this series is going and can't wait to see how this arc impacts Ninjak in both timelines moving forward. Graphic Policy - Alex K Cossa Sep 7, 2016

Ninjak #19brings in story element and characters that were previously introduced in the series, rewarding readers who have been around for a few issues – something that I'm a little partial to. This is yet another issue ofNinjakthat didn't deliver on it's promise – a shame, because when the series is on its game, it'sone of the best around. Read Full Review

It's perhaps unfair to critique on a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately basis, but considering the quality previously seen from this book, this issue doesn't measure up. Read Full Review

    Geek-O-Rama - Rick Sep 13, 2016

If you stop and think about it, the protagonists are fairly ridiculous " a techno-ninja and an axe-wielding immortal? " but by playing it straight, Valiant pulls it off. Ninjak #19 even manages to be funny, especially when the two heroes awkwardly order a hotel room in Vegas. I'm also floored by the villains in this series: many-armed Fakir is weird enough, but doesn't hold a candle to the seriously creepy mad science-warlock, Dr. Silk. Ninjak #19 ends with a seriously awesome splash page. You have to see it. Read Full Review
