The High Republic is a fresh and exciting new era of Star Wars. With so much to explore, this first issue only gets to lightly touch on things. However, the action, characters, and curiosity are enough to keep me invested, and I'm eager to see more.

Although the climax is very rushed, the resolution is sweet and satisfying. The team is well-established and they have all formed a strong bond. I hope it doesn't take long for The Revolutionaries to make another appearance.

While the series is taking its time and winding down for a moment, the characters are becoming more developed and the mystery grows more intriguing.

The dust settles after a hard-fought battle with Roxxon. Things seem unusually calm in a nice change of pace, but trouble is surely looming. If you still haven't started reading this series, this is a great time to jump in.
