Like other DC digital comics, this book is only $.99 to download on Comixology, so you're not out a lot of cash if this isn't for you. Personally, I think this series is best suited for die-hard fans of either the show or character. But if you're looking for a breezy all ages read you could do worse for sure.

The Afterlife with Archie continues to be the sexiest, scariest comic on the market. You'd be a fool to miss this issue.

While this issue is a bridge between the New 52 and Rebirth, it's one worth crossing. I don't know anyone, or at least anyone that loves comics who can pass up a good Dark Knight story"honestly anyone?! At the very least, if it does nothing else besides excite you for Tom King and David Finch's Rebirth Batman in June, then I say job well done.

The crossover received John Carpenter's stamp of approval, and you can tell why it did. His creations are taken care of with respect and plenty of swagger. As I said before, I don't know what lays ahead in this series but it's gonna be one of heck of a ride.

I think if you are in the market for something different or you don't enjoy superhero stuff, Brutal Nature is a good pick for you. I just wasn't feeling it.

DEJAH THORIS finally gets hers, and proves she's every bit the hero John Carter is. Also Dynamite proves themselves again as the king of femme fatales, or should I say queen".not good with the PC stuff.

I think by now Millar has all earned our trust. For me, if he puts out a book I'm there and Empress is no different. Empress is a must for any pull list. You will not be disappointed!

The first of five issues, Oblivion is a fast read that really evokes the fun side of the Godzilla franchise. It's a nice counter balance to dark and heavier Godzilla in Hell. Which is what makes Godzilla such a great character"he can be goofy or straight up scary but he's always King of the Monsters.

Fans of Harley this book is a no brainer. If you're on the fence or looking at an entry point I might pick up a trade, but if you just want to be entertained give this issue a go.

Writers Jimmy Palmiotti, Frank Tieri are top notch. Tieri's Hangman , if you haven't picked that up, you're long overdue. Palmiotti has one of the sharpest pens in the game. These guys know dialogue, they know how to balance the light with the dark. Such good stuff!

I've always enjoyed Carter's exploits across Mars, its great escapism, but John Carter: The End is a bold new chapter the legendary charter.

Jupiter's Legacy Vol.2 #1, blisters at 98C! I can't wait to see this series hit boiling point!

If I didn't say it yet, this is a must buy. So many questions"Where will the Darkseid War lead? Who will it's casualties be? And how will this fit into REBIRTH?

Writer James Asmus(All-New Inhumans) and artist Carlos Mango (Planet of the Apes)craft a comic so strong Kong creator Merian C. Cooper would personal hand them a victory cigar. Can't recommend it enough.

I had a crackerjack time reading Lucas Stand, and I've added it to my pull list. The pulp dialogue, time traveling, demons and angels, tough guy thing are just too much for his guy to ignore. On stands now.

Written by the ever busy Cullen Bunn, Micronauts is great sci-fi escapism. Filled with lots of action, some jokes, and some promising characters, Micronauts is off to a great start. The book uses a host of artists, David Baldeon, Fico Ossio, and Max Dunbar to get the job done and all hold up there end of the bargain. If you like your space adventures stoked in fun, I think you'll dig this book. I know I did.

High marks for Bennett and Aneke, their work is lushish and captivating. The She-Devil is back and you just take heed"buy this book!

Now some of you might have nay sayer around; "That's a kids book!" It's their loss, two panels into this book you realize it's a kiddy book, it's the horror/sci-fi infused Mystery Incorporated saga you've dreamt about since you were a kid.

For some, Landis is a tough pill to swallow. I don't really have an opinion on his films one way or the other. Thought Chronicle and American Ultra were solid flicks, not flawless but fun to watch. All I know, is unique take on Superman/Clark Kent and the DCU is extremely enjoyable.

While I'm a little teary, that a TV reboot (someone call Netflix) of Tales From The Darkside didn't occur. This comic does a nice job of drying those tears and turning a frown upside down. You'd be a fool not pick this one up!

Corpse Makers, is more than a tribute to Eisner's talents and legacy, it's a continuation. Francavilla's spin breaths rare and emboldens his own legacy. The real question isn't; "Is the Corpse-Makers are good comic?" That's a given. No, the real question we should ask is; "will be honoring Francesco Franacavilla, like Will Eisner a 100 years from now?"

If you're an X-Files fan or if you just love fun comics, this should be on the pull list. Based off the first entry into the IDW Deviations arc I'm putting them all on there.

While this comic won't settle the conflict in the Middle East or cure AIDS, it will put a smile on your face! Out now!

Writer/artist Lee Bermejo script is heavy. It touches on a lot of the alienation troubling kids today (I'm old) especially in urban settings. The characters are flawed and real. Art by Jorge Corona is impressive as well. We Are Robin is a welcome and very urban, modern entry into the Bat-verse that is perfect for millennials.

Written by Greg Rucka, this first entry into Wonder Woman's reawakening is intriguing. He gets beneath her skin, into her core, forcing the deity to take a long hard look in the mirror. Artists Matthew Clark and Liam Sharp talents are in full display. With a stellar creative team like this, Wonder Women Rebirth is one of the strongest series in the DC line up-that's saying a lot!

I'm not usual high on TV tie ins, but I'm throwing this in the reboot column since it's by the original creator and comic reboot every year or two anyways. I also have no idea what the show will be like, but it sounds like something I'd watch. Wynonna Earp is cool fun concept , and I'm sure fans of a the original will be back, but I think it's worth checking out if like a strong female lead.
