The Damned #1 |
May 3, 2017 |
I’ll keep an eye on the series, and returning readers might find a lot to like here but I ultimately felt a little lost and overextended, awash in a cool world that I couldn’t anchor myself to. |

The Visitor: How And Why He Stayed #3 |
Apr 27, 2017 |
This is as simple as an issue can get, it doesn’t detract from the world or the character but it doesn’t add much either and that’s kind of a shame. |

Extremity (2017) #3 |
May 3, 2017 |
Overall, the issue works as well as one can expect, threads are pulled in interesting directions and the visual design is immaculate. Pick this up knowing that more compelling craftmanship like this is sure to come. |

Lobster Johnson: The Pirates Ghost #2 |
Apr 27, 2017 |
In the end a step away from supernatural elements and a stunning lack of the Lobster leave the book kind of missing a unique angle but the general mystery, intrigue, and artistic efforts here are more than enough to please. |

God Country #4 |
Apr 19, 2017 |
Consistently and somewhat stunningly, God Country continues oozing creativity. This issue, even if it falters a bit in visual choreography, is no different. I implore readers of all walks of life to check it out. |

Rock Candy Mountain’s second outing isn’t perfect, but it’s damn good and, in its very own, very unique way, refreshing. I’m ready for the next one. |

God Country #5 |
May 17, 2017 |
Frankly, I don’t have a bad thing to say about this issue and saying much else would spoil all the fun. If you’re not already reading God Country, go pick up the first four issues immediately, and if you’re already reading, I know you’re having as much fun as everyone involved, myself included. |
