Mysterious, tough-as-hell hobo Jackson continues his search for the mythical Rock Candy Mountain in the most obvious place: an underground fight club. Yup, that's right, this issue includes a veritable crap-ton of hobo fights. Did you think we were going to lay off the hobo fights? Nope! EVEN MORE HOBO FIGHTS!
Also: the Literal Devil, a guy named Hundred Cat, and poor Pomona Slim continuing to be drug in the wake of an adventure he is woefully unprepared for. Did you hear? HOBO FIGHT CLUB.
Seriously though, Rock Candy Mountain is just great. I was so excited to see it coming out this week and I already can't wait for the next issue. If you enjoyed the first issue, which I'm sure you did, then you know what you're getting into here. I read a lot of comics, like an insane amount, really, and this one might just be one of the most fun books right now. Rock Candy Mountain’s second outing isn’t perfect, but it’s damn good and, in its very own, very unique way, refreshing. I’m ready for the next one. Read Full Review

Another phenomenal issue from what is quickly becoming one of my favorite current comics! Here we get a little more insight to what just might be going on with our main man Jackson as well as some new intrigue in the Hobo lore this story resides in. Writing is on point here with giving the reader little glimpses into the mystery of Jackson and his pursuers while keeping the mystery very much alive and intriguing! Kyle's art style fits this story so well and really drives home the dustbowl type settings. Plus it has a Hobo fight club!! If you're not reading this series I cant recommend it enough and this should be on everyone's pull list right now!!
