The colors are beautiful, however, and really make the book stand out from other titles. The lettering is also distinct, so while the art doesn't completely succeed, it's a nice departure from other books on the shelf.

All in all, Feathers is an all-ages comic that hits the mark, and the first issue is a promising beginning for this six-part mini-series.

John Carter: Warlord of Mars #1 is great start to a new ongoing series, and I'm sure fans of the mini-series or the broader works of Burroughs will be pleased. And the ending provides a great twist that will have readers picking up the second issue. And despite my concerns about the art, I'm looking forward to seeing this series develop.

What Low #4 accomplishes best is promising a lot of potential stories yet to come in a manner that's not divided into your typical superhero comic four or five-part installments, and delivers a fantastic twist at the end that will have readers picking up issue #5.
