Mars Attacks The Holidays #1 |
Nov 8, 2012 |
The Mars Attacks the Holidays One-Shot is really a mixed bag, with Thanksgiving being the only story worth paying for. Overall I say this one-shot is not worth it and comic fans should just save their money. |

Vampirella #24 |
Nov 8, 2012 |
Vampirella #24 is a surprisingly fun read, well worth the cost of picking it up for fans of old school, action packed comic-books where anything is possible. This good old fashioned action romp might just be enough to sell you on picking up the series. |

Lets Play God #1 |
Oct 25, 2012 |
The Verdict: The Grantst did a good job of establishing the awkward situation the three band mates Mel, Kira and Billy find themselves in. Mel witnessed a murder, a terrifying scenario anyone of us can find ourselves in if were unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. They successfully build interest not only in this issue but for #2 as well, and Erics moody artwork only adds to the suspense and mystery. I recommend anyone looking for something other then superheroes to pick this one up. This is not something Marvel or DC would publish and thats a good thing. |

After Earth (One Shot) #1 |
Oct 18, 2012 |
For a prequel comic-book about an upcoming film (2013) starring Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith that may very well stink up the box office, this was a good read. If you have a little extra money to read something new this month, then do try to give this one a shot. |

Jennifer Blood #18 |
Oct 18, 2012 |
Jennifer Blood was launched by Garth Ennis back in 2011 and while I havent read those initial 6 issues of the series, Im pretty sure they were much better then this. Dont waste your money on Al Ewings run on Jennifer Blood its just not worth it, either track down the back issues of Garth Ennis brief run on the series or take a chance on the Jennifer Blood Volume 1 trade paperback that collects Garths 6 issue stint. |

Non-Humans #1 |
Oct 1, 2012 |
During the course of the issue we get a sexy new partner for Aimes, an interesting NH counter to Aimes in the form of Medic and a nice cliffhanger. The dialogue was also good throughout, though the inner monologue was pretty bad. Overall, despite its flaws, the world of Non-Humans was interesting enough to warrant giving the series a second look. If you have some extra cash it might be worthwhile to pick this up. If youre strapped for cash though, Non-Humans is not worth dropping a title from your pull list. |

Queen Sonja #32 |
Sep 25, 2012 |
While their is nothing spectacular about this issue, save for the cover, there is nothing wrong with it either. It was an enjoyable read and easy to jump into as a new reader, so dont be afraid to give it a look if youre new to the series. |

Transformers: Robots In Disguise Annual: 2012 |
Sep 25, 2012 |
Overall I think The Transformers Robots In Disguise Annual is worth buying if you're a Transformers fan. If you are not, then this annual won't change your mind. |
