While I can't recommend this for newcomers, the fans will be pleased. As we lead into the new future of Ninja-K, we can go in feeling entirely satisfied. Waiting for the final issue is going to be tough, but I can't remember the last time I was this excited for any wrap-up issue. As strong a showing as any other issue to date for the series so far.

This book is going somewhere and ends on a pretty nifty fight sequence. The writing and the art are as strong as anything Valiant has ever put out. Something is brewing and it's a bit early to tell what it might be, but I know I'll be reading to find out.

I feel like every week another book I love is coming to an end. Rahal's run on Quantum and Woody is no exception. This book taught me to love these two numbskulls and their insane adventures. Valiant has some great comedy titles and this series will hold its place next to all of them. This issue wasn't the most exciting, but it ended a run I've loved to almost near perfection.

The creative staff do go out of their way to show what this character is about. Any spoilers as to how would be doing any perspective new reader a great disservice. I genuinely think that if you have any passing interest in Bloodshot, you need this one. I easily recommend it for anybody looking to dive head deep into the world of Bloodshot.

As an issue 1, this book is a little boring. Faith fans should be pleased and if you are experiencing Valiant for the first time through this book, I don't think you'll be lost for even a second. Credit should be given to Jody Houser for making it easy on someone who may not be familiar to Faith a great intro to the character, but it is very disappointing how little Dr. Mirage is actually used throughout the book. Overall it is a good jumping on point, even though what you're jumping into we can't say for certain.

This is a great and fun way to lead into the next arc. This return to form with a surprisingly substantial one-shot. It goes to prove the excellent quality of this title. It tells a complete and satisfying story and if you're looking for a satisfying cyborg story, you can do a lot worse.

On paper the teams involved make this feel like it should have been an epic cross-over. This includes leaving out the major character return, but it's brief nature can't give it the scope it deserves. Again, given the cast, this should have been as big, if not bigger than HW2. It's not and the only hope I have for this arc is that given the ending, this story may not be done yet, just put on the back burners as we go back into the Ninja program and deal with Ninja-H. The series until this arc has been absolutely stellar and I hope it gets back to that.
