Marsters' mastery of Spike allows for a deep yet subtle portrayal of a well-loved character.

Snarky inner monologues by Loki. Raw, edgy art by Jerry Gaylord. Tons of fun. Makes me wish (again) that Marvel realized what they had with Loki. And I want one of those Loki & The Tricksters t-shirts.

I think this storyline is superb, for fleshing out Loki and his family's relationship as well as questioning our religious beliefs and social behaviors. Marvelous.

While I love anti-hero Loki from the Marvel movies, I feel Ragnarok and Roll manages to express the chaotic wildness and feral hunger of the Norse mythological Loki. He's an evil bastard but oh-so-very charmingright up until he kills you.

I really wish I could have seen this issue on television. I don't know how I feel about Jayne's storyline, but the rest of it is the perfect mix of gritty, intense, and thrilling heroics. Eagerly awaiting issue #3!

While I felt things were a little rushed, I loved Kaylee's daring heroics, the peek inside River's brain, Mal and Inara's developing relationship, and the shocking twist "To Be Continued..." ending. Excited for the next issue!

While this issue doesn't allow much emotional investment, there are some things I'm excited aboutnamely the girls River finds.

The art in "Sherlock Holmes and the Vampires of London" was my favorite part. There were some interesting ideas presented, but overall I felt there was a serious lack of Watson, who is needed to bring a warmer side to the cold-blooded chemist.
