One of the things that sets IDW's Dredd aside from the pack and above the rehashed greatest hits that many have offered the American market before is the bravery to have some real length to the story arcs and here we seem to be finally coming to the end of a tale that has been almost two years in the telling but remains accessible to new readers throughout. They will for sure be twists ahead though and anyone choosing to follow along will not be disappointed.

Series like this don't come along too often

When it comes to civilisations on the brink of extinction due to a dying star, the unifying foundation tends to be one of ancient civilisations that have risen and fallen. If the sun's dying it's probably really, really old and if the unfortunate inhabitants of its satellites are sophisticated enough to escape, that's probably because they've been around a long time too " but there is no sense of that history here. Maybe that will be revealed as the story unfolds"
