Captain Stone #1 |
Dec 17, 2014 |
So Im a little stumped how to rate Cap Stone #1. As a simple reader, its pretty average. Im interested in seeing where the story goes and how the characters develop, but the art turns me off a little and just didnt make me want to finish. But I already have dissenting opinion from a trusted source from an artists point of view, and I do appreciate the writing style, so I think the only fair way to rate this is straight down the middle, but Ill be reading next issue for sure. |

Mono #1 |
Dec 17, 2014 |
Monodefinitely isnt for everyone but for fans of the war/spy genre I can see it being a good read. Its in a sense kind of retro, and definitely has a rich array of source material to modify for Sharps own devices. While not the most impactful first issue, the series has potential to be a strong and gritty read, and Ill be keeping my eye on it for sure. |

Wytches #1 |
Oct 10, 2014 |
To emphasise how good I found this comic, I bought it at 4pm day of release, have read it three times already, and have already requested the next issues be held for me at the local comic book store. This is a definite must have for fans of bother Snyder and Jock, as well as horror genre fans. |

Wytches #2 |

If you havent started reading Wytchesyou really need to rectify that. It really is pretty much flawless, from writing to colours, artwork to concept, and its my second favourite current title (sorry, Saga wins outright for now). My only problem is that its monthly, which while its helpful for my bank account just means I have to wait longer for each issue. |
