The cover art shows off the contents of the issue as we have Thunder Fall with Batwing supporting him from behind. The neutral background colour allows the characters to take the fore. The only thing I think is lacking from the cover is a bit of movement. Both Batwing and Thunder Fall look very static. Issue two's cover used movement to great effect, and well represented the fast pace of the issue. I think this would bring a bit more life to this issue's cover. Though it is in no way bad, it could be improved upon.

I was ambiguous about the cover of the first issue due to it not having much relation to the story, but issue two treats us with an action filled cover as Massacre and Batwing rush toward each other in battle. The blue backdrop provides contrast to Massacre's earthy colours, and reading the issue it is noticeable that Batwing's safe house, The Haven, also has a blue tinged background. This is an exciting cover that captures what a potential reader can expect to find in the issue.

Batwing is shown in all his glory in his Batman Inc. Created batsuit/wingsuit, but the helicopters and hinted at Pyramids in the background don't do much for me. It may be overly critical, but Batwing doesn't travel to Egypt in this issue, nor are there any helicopters. This makes me feel that there was confusion over how to introduce Batwing to the masses in a single captivating cover image.
