The Autumnlands #3

Feb 12, 2015

This issue was really great. After a fast start to the series in the first two issues, number three pumps the breaks a little bit. It fills in some story line and starts to create what seems like will turn out to be a huge world. I think The Autumnlands has a lot of potential to be something really cool and issue #3 is a great building block toward that.

The Autumnlands #4

Feb 28, 2015

The story really catches up with the art in issue number four. After a furious action packed first three issues, the pace slows down. We get a chance to get to know a few of the characters a little more. The Great Champion becomes more than a killing machine, Dusty starts learning the ways of the world, and a couple characters are clearly not team players. They dynamic of the crew really remind me of The Walking Dead. Issue number 4 really sets the stage for a very interesting tale of the interactions between people in crisis. Whos doing the right thing, whos struggling for power, whos taking advantage of the situation, whos being taken advantage of are all questions this issue set up to be answered. Issue #4 makes me very interested to the rest of the series.

The Fade Out #4

Jan 15, 2015

For the third time in four issues we are treated to an issue that takes us deeper down the rabbit hole of this world and shown there is so much more interesting happening here than Val Sommers Murder. Issue #4 of The Fade Out a must read.

Thor (2014) #3

Dec 10, 2014

Overall Thor #3 is a solid issue. I don't think the light character development hurts it. It almost has you look forward to #4 more because of the small amount teased. The battle that occurs looks great on the page. We have a couple small comedy moments that didn't take away from the book which is always nice. The last page really lets us know that issue #4 of Thor is going to be a good one.

Thor (2014) #4

Feb 6, 2015

As a stand alone issue number four doesn't pack a whole lot of punch, which is odd considering how much punching is in it. However, it is a really fitting end to the first arc. I'm looking forward to seeing what Thor is going to do next and what Mjolnir smashes next, and that's really what its all about.

Thor (2014) #5

Feb 19, 2015

Overall the issue is a strong issue. After the high action issue 4 it's nice to get an issue that dives into a bit of storyline. The direction Odin is moving into is interesting and we are left with a huge tease for the trouble that is on the way for new Thor.
