Waid and Samnee provide a near perfect first issue to get readers hooked. It's action packed and sets up enough mystery to keep readers excited.

Len Wein and Kelley Jones deliver a strong gothic horror story with deep ties to the history of Swamp Thing and the DC Universe as a whole. The inclusion of Matt Cable and Zatanna makes this a must read for fans of the supernatural DCU.

After being out of the cowl for months Bruce Wayne returns to his rightful place as Batman in Scott Snyder and Yanick Paquette's great, mind-bending tale. With allusions to past and possible tales, this issue further provides the thesis that Bruce Wayne is the one and true Batman.

Bland villains and some confusing art at times make this first issue a disappointment.

A worthy final battle between Reed Richards and God Doom. Writer Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribic give a great finale to this immensely entertaining and world-changing event.
