Unfortunately though I think for the moment this is just more DC Comics filler like G.I. Zombie. We may get ten issues out of this title, honestly I hope we get more, but the New Gods and the Forever People have just never been as popular as a lot of the other DCU characters and titles. Unless something big happens soon this may soon be a dead title. I guess we'll see..

The story is a little quick, and a little too identical to the movie the Wraith, but I can forgive that because if you reverse it the Ghost Rider existed first and he wreaked vengeance before Charlie Sheen in the Wraith, no matter which Ghost Rider incarnation you want to follow. I'm just hoping that in issue #2 we get some more insight on Robbie Reyes and his family situation, love interests and all the stuff that be some how included in any title, in any case I have kept it on my pull list.

For the moment Rick and the Surfer are all good, but I can't tell you the rest of the story because I'm not that guy. If you want to know how this issue ends you should visit your local comic shop and pick it up. It's worth it, trust me.

This is one title not to miss out on, especially for the true Batman fan. Ad this to your pull list or just pick it up off of the shelf, you'll love it.

Out of the time break we watch as the real Galactus pulls himself in to Earth 1610 only to be met by the Gah Lak Tus swarm. This is it, Gah Lak Tus versus Galactus. Who wins this battle? I can't tell you all of the story, it's totally work picking up. Trust me.

Number Cruncher #1 is one of the best titles I have read in a long while, and to just rip this out of the pages of “2000 AD Magazine” and facet it together in to a mini-series is brilliant. This is an amazing read with a low print run and an up and coming writer. Trust me when I say that you should pick it up and ad it to your pull list.

For right now it looks like the team is Misty Knight, Valkyrie and Dr. Riggs, but the cover for issue #2 looks like Danielle Moonstar will be joining them to take on the Doom Maidens in issue #3. I guess we'll have to see how that goes down. It's a Defenders title, and as long as it's published I'll keep reading it and bitching about it too.

The last few pages and the last battle are classic Marvel Comics scenarios and well worth the time reading this issue. Like I said earlier this issue is a fun read and a definite pick up if you want to try out a new book or needed some comic book filler on your Wednesday commute to your local comic shop, you never know it could be a small week and out of the corner of your eye you just happen to see Red She-Hulk #59. Remember this review.

Besides Wolverine, the three others at the meeting have no idea what's going on with Doop, and don't know about his back to back battle with Howard the Duck against the barbarian robots, or the the fact that Doop is also the lunch lady at the school, and so much more! This issue is packed with so many Doop antics, and all the stuff that Wolverine has to go through to hire Doop is amazing! If you're a fan of Wolverine, X-Men, and Mike Allred and his X-Statix, then this is the issue for you. I know this review is late, but this issue is still out there and can be found at your LCS.

If you like to read stuff in the vein of Vertigo Comics, then this is the book for you, it has a great team behind it, plus a cover by Brian Bolland. I can't wait until the next issue.

I see some us as fans losing some loved characters in this series, number one being Cyclops. It's just time he bit the bullet. This could be awesomely dramatic to the Marvel Universe, think about it, we as readers grew up with books like the Uncanny X-Men where all these original characters were kids to teens, Cyclops is an adult now with the rest of the X-Men, Professor X is pretty much out of the picture and Cyclops is the head honcho on Utopia, he already had his big battle with Wolverine in Schism, and before that he had many other battles with Wolverine because of Jean Grey. At the end of Schism, Wolverine left Utopia and from what we see now, he joined the Avengers. The war is coming! Sides have been chosen, and people die in war.

The covers by the Dodson's are beautiful and the inside art by Lark is real nice too. You can't go wrong by picking up this series because of who's on it. As much as I am bored with it so far, it won't come off of my pull list because I know that something big has to happen sometime soon, and Marvel when I say “big” I don't mean you guys canceling the series.
