In the current age of nebulous trade-fillers and spectacles that barely tell the barest of plot lines, Jurgens manages to tell an actual comic book plot in a single issue, just like the good old days.

There are many ways this could have been done better, but it could have been worse. If you're already reading the series, no reason to stop now, but I definitely don't recommend picking up the series based on this issue alone.

If you are still reading this story, stop. Dont bother buying this comic. Let your wallet speak for you and tell DC you demand more eloquent writing.

I'm worried Lobdell is getting bored with writing Jason and is just throwing whatever he can get away with at this point. Hopefully, Penguin brings with him his usual wit next issue.
