Despite the fact that this issue didn't do much to advance the plot of the series, and the few small art issues, I absolutely LOVED this comic book. A really good comic allows you to see yourself in the characters, and lets you live out fantasies through the characters on the page. This issue was a really fun tale of what it would look like to wake up one day as a superhero.

I really enjoyed this comic. With a few exceptions it was well drawn and the story was well crafted. I would like to have seen a little more detail on some of the supporting characters, but there was enough happening to keep me interested. This has been my favourite issue so far, and I look forward to seeing where it goes.

Overall this was a very successful comic. There were a few lost opportunities and some minor design errors but overall both the art and the storytelling exceeded the already high standards of Superman Unchained. I would definitely pick it up and give it a read through.

While I think this comic was lacking in both the art and story department, it had some good elements and it makes me excited to see what is coming next. I would pick it up and give it a quick read-through. I think a great story ark is going to come out of this.

The writing in this issue was way better than the art, but Star Spangled War Stories #02 is definitely worth a read. The characters are believable and the plot moves along well. I don't know if this is going to be the best issue in this series, but Star Spangled War Stories is definitely out to a good start.

This was a fun comic to read. I am a sucker for final showdowns and this had it all. I think writers Justin Gray and Palmiotti wrapped up the story a little toneatly, but overall it was a fun read. The art was also a bit of a mixed bag. The art in the background was much more impressive than the foreground but overall the frames read well. If you are a fan of GI Zombie this issue is definitely worth a read.

Supergirl 34 was pretty forgettable. It was a fun little read but I think that you might want to save your money and pick up the next one.
