Shadowhawk's Shade - Abhinav Jain
Sep 27, 2014This issue could have been a great finale I think. It feels like that well enough. So I suppose it is a good thing that I'l be able to get another dose of the fix in less than a month now so I won't complain! Read Full Review

Sep 25, 2014Star Spangled War Stories Featuring GI Zombie: Futures End #1 is a fun and exciting tale, that also doubles as what would be a great ending for the series whenever it comes. The writing is great, G.I. Zombie is a great lead, the story's enjoyable, and the art does have some good qualities. If you liked the previous two issues of the series, definitely give this a look. The Latest Pull - Eric Tillirson
Sep 26, 2014I now know who G.I. Zombie is, what he's capable of and why it's the coolest thing around. My hat is off to Jimmy Palomiotti and Justin Gray. They have written a character who knows how to party. Read Full Review

Sep 30, 2014Futures End SSWS is all about a zombie apocalypse coming to Gotham City and GI Zombie coming to the rescue. Re-read that last sentence and that's all you really need to know about the book. The whole comic has a feeling of World War Z and 24 to it, with some great little panels and scenes that seriously made me want this to be more than just a one-shot. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Jim Werner
Sep 30, 2014While this issue seems to be oddly out of continuity with the rest of the Futures End books, it's fun enough to recommend. In fact, this issue is a good one for those who want to read a one-shot horror comic without a mask or cape in sight. The art could have been better, but it doesn't ruin the experience. Check it out if you are still into this whole zombie craze. Read Full Review

Sep 29, 2014I was surprised at how much I enjoyed G.I. Zombie, but also disappointed that the grandness of the story is never really captured. To be fair, Gray and Palmittoi are penning a single issue, so they're operating with different rules. A story this good, though, needs either the space to stretch its legs, or an editor who will keep its scope from expanding outside of its confines. Read Full Review

DC Comics News - Yonatan Ol
Oct 01, 2014This was a fun comic to read. I am a sucker for final showdowns and this had it all. I think writers Justin Gray and Palmiotti wrapped up the story a little toneatly, but overall it was a fun read. The art was also a bit of a mixed bag. The art in the background was much more impressive than the foreground but overall the frames read well. If you are a fan of GI Zombie this issue is definitely worth a read. Read Full Review
