I really enjoyed the first series for this and that while it did end in a way that had some level of closure to it, I was glad to see that more was coming. I definitely prefer shorter limited-run series so that a story isn't dragged out too far to hit, say, a six-issue run, and then to have a new limited series follow it. Not every story should be designed around the same length and I really like what Tobin produced in the first run. This installment looks to carry forward the complexities of the characters in a great way while expanding the world by introducing the Hollow and to reveal what it means and its role in the mix. I'm excited to see what the plan is here and to get more of both Tobin's writing as well as Mutti's fantastic artwork. It definitely gives me the right creepy vibes, especially with the color design. There are some interesting ideas, but there are no characters to really root for here and the premiere issue is simply bogged down in presenting its ideas by its weaknesses. Read Full Review
Everyone is shipping Tyler and Bee, but I'm shipping him and Bunny Mask! You're a good man Paul Tobin :P
I met Paul Tobin at a signing yesterday, and he said an inspiration for Bunny Mask was that he knew of a man that lived in his childhood neighborhood who was actually digging out a cave for reasons unknown, and Paul saw the inside once. I wonder where that man is now...
I almost like this better than any of the last series but, it's just good to see such a good follow up.
