Frank Babbs is not a man to scare easily. But now he's very scared. Everything he's built, the lies he's constructed his life upon, might soon be blown away. See, back in the swinging sixties Frank poisoned three of his best friends, certain that one of them had killed his lover. Making things more complicated, the whole business was witnessed by a stripper who is now Frank's wife. Forty-odd years later, three long-dead gangsters have risen from the grave to seek revenge - and all Frank's money and knighthood won't save him.
