The story by Mark Russell is pretty great. The script really moves and it has some of the best dialogue around. The artwork and storytelling by Richard Pace is pretty great. Overall, I am enjoying this second series and it is as well done as the first! Read Full Review
The result is an uncomfortable and heavy read that fits in very well with the narrative of the story. Taking Second Coming: Only Begotten Son as just a comic book, this bleak issue really feels like a turning point. The letters page is actually hilarious this time, don't skip it. Beyond that, this issue gets into what heaven is like in the Mark Russellverse, but it turns out that it's not much different from another Ahoy title, High Heaven.
