I'm not even trying to dunk on Penders but the stories he has written these past two issues are really not exciting, "cool" or funny in the way Sonic has been in the first 10 issues. Thankfully there are some other writers doing smaller stories in these books and those help keep that typical Sonic flair to it. Just hardly the main arc.
