With this series being only four issues long I'm not sure that spending an entire issue on historical flashback is the right choice. But if we have more series of miniseries coming up then it's less of an issue as it helps to set up more of the underlying structure of this story universe. It's a pretty fun one to see what Lodge did back in the day and it has me curious to see how he's survived since then and into the present. Veronica's certainly going to have words to say when they do meet and I'm just enjoying her taking all of this in and realizing the scale of what's going on. Mok's artwork is fantastic here, once again, and it made for a really fun story to unfold as we see what the original Lodge vampire was like. Read Full Review
